Betsie & Co. - FAQ's
Choose a pillow cover size that matches the dimensions of your insert.
How to measure: Use a fabric measuring tape to measure from seam to seam across the center of the pillow—first the width, then the length. If you don’t have a fabric tape, use a piece of string and then compare it against a yardstick or metal tape measure.
As a general rule, your table runner should be about one-third the width of your table and hang over each end by 6 to 10 inches.
For example, if your table is 42 inches wide and 60 inches long, a suitable table runner would be approximately 14 inches wide and 72 to 80 inches long.
Length (Top to Bottom):
Measure from the top of the curtain rod down to where you want the curtain to fall.
Note: The total length is measured from the top of the rod pocket to the bottom of the curtain, excluding the optional 1-inch header.
Width (Left to Right):
For a full, gathered look, your curtain panels should be 1.5 to 2 times wider than your window or curtain rod. For a more tailored appearance, less fullness is acceptable.
The listed width is the combined width of both panels.
Example: 25" wide tiers = 50" total width
36" wide tiers = 72" total width
For a balanced look, the width of the valance should match the width of the tiers.
Example: A 15" L x 50" W valance pairs with 25" W tiers (50" total).
Header Options:
1-Inch Header: Includes a rod pocket with a 1" decorative topper (header not included in total curtain length).
Flat Top: Rod pocket only, no decorative header.
Rod Pocket Size:
Choose a rod pocket that fits your curtain rod comfortably:
For round rods, the pocket should be twice the diameter of the rod.
Example: A 1" round rod needs a 2" rod pocket.
For flat (continental) rods, add ½ inch to the rod height.
Example: A 2.5" flat rod needs a 3" rod pocket.
Tree skirt dimensions refer to the total diameter—measured from outer edge to outer edge, including the center hole.
To choose the right size, base your measurement on the full width of the tree’s bottom branches, and account for the height and angle of your tree stand.
How to Measure: Step-by-Step
1: Place the end of a measuring tape at the center of the tree trunk or post.
2: Extend the tape diagonally to reach the tip of the widest bottom branch.
3: Multiply the number by 2 to get the approximate tree skirt diameter.
4: Round up or down based on your preference for coverage.
Example:
If your tree’s bottom branches extend 25 inches from the center, and the tree stand elevates the tree slightly, a 30-inch tree skirt provides better coverage than a 25-inch one.
📏 Formula:
(Distance from trunk center to outermost branch tip) × 2 = Recommended skirt diameter.

Homespun is a lightweight fabric made from fine cotton yarns. Historically, it began as a coarse, loosely woven textile crafted from yarn spun at home—hence the name homespun.
Modern homespun retains that traditional, handcrafted look, with characteristic features such as subtle color variations, slight irregularities, and an intentionally imperfect finish. It has no distinct front or back, and patterns are created by weaving dyed threads rather than printing.
These natural variations are not flaws—they're part of the authentic charm and rustic character that define true homespun fabric.
